Jack has been a qualified tradesman since 1978, in four provinces and one territory. He has a Master Electrician certification for Alberta.

He and his wife Leona moved to Leduc in April 2019 to be closer to their three daughters and families, including four grandchildren. Jack spends his spare time listening to music, visiting with family or friends, and playing with his grandkids.
